Size guide

SIZE GUIDE

Every IINAT piece is one of one and begins with an existing vintage garment. Because sizing standards vary between brands, eras and countries, the size shown on the original label should be used as a reference only.

For the most accurate fit, we recommend comparing the garment measurements listed on each product page with a blazer or jacket you already own and like the fit of.

This chart is intended as a general guide only. The individual garment measurements are always the most accurate reference.

HOW WE MEASURE

All garments are measured lying flat.

Shoulder
Measured straight across the back, from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.

Chest
Measured from underarm to underarm across the front. Double this measurement for the approximate full chest circumference.

Waist
Measured across the narrowest part of the garment. Double for the approximate circumference.

Sleeve
Measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

Length
Measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.

CHOOSING YOUR FIT

Our vintage blazers have different original cuts, from fitted tailoring to relaxed and oversized silhouettes.

If you prefer a more structured fit, choose a piece with garment measurements relatively close to your own.

For a relaxed or oversized look, allow additional room through the chest and shoulders.

When in doubt, prioritise the shoulder and chest measurements, as these have the greatest impact on how a blazer fits.

A NOTE ON VINTAGE SIZING

A vintage size 38 will not necessarily fit like a contemporary size 38. This is why every IINAT product page includes the actual measurements of the individual garment.

Each piece is unique. Please check its measurements carefully before ordering.
